Our cars have been bought with a digital chip already installed, except the Fiat 5oo which we converted.

Our Track

We have a digital figure 8 circuit. It includes a 4 car power-base and digital lap counter. It also includes two lane changing track pieces and a digital right hand scalextric pit lane. Members have uploaded their pictures in the slideshow above.

Four cars racing on two lanes! Can it be done? Yes it can. With Scalextric Digital each car is individually controlled, as usual, but the digital chip inside each car allows the driver to switch lanes at the press of a button on the controller to overtake a slower car in front.
